Paul thinks outside the box when it comes to functional
structures
like gates, railings, a gazebo, pergola, pagoda,
trellis or urn.
Gates and railings can lose their rectangular shape
and transform into
the organic shapes of the subject. Low relief detail
on a urn or trellis turn it into a sculptural
form.
